I'm Catherine Otieno, founder of Regal Rendezvous. And I started this company because I believed the luxury event experience deserved something the industry too rarely offers: a planner who is as obsessed with the details as you are and who has the professional foundation to back it up.

Before founding Regal Rendezvous, I spent 6 in the hospitality industry, most recently as an events manager overseeing large-scale productions. In that environment, I coordinated everything from intimate private dinners to multi-day corporate conferences, managing vendors, timelines, and guest experiences at a level of precision that most planners never encounter.

That background gave me something invaluable: I know how events actually work behind the scenes. I know what vendors need to perform at their best. I know where the pressure points are, where timelines slip, and exactly how to prevent it. When I arrive on the day of your event, nothing surprises me because I've already planned for it.

I am, at my core, a detail person. I find the gaps in a timeline before they become problems. I ask the questions my clients haven't thought to ask yet. I build contingency plans most planners never consider because I know that the difference between a good event and an unforgettable one is rarely the grand gestures. It's the hundred small decisions that happen before your guests ever arrive.
